Does your kiddo LOVE animals? Like, really love them? This club is for them. 🐾
Critter Club is an 11-session afterschool club where kids learn all about the care and feeding of furry, feathered, and finned creatures — through hands-on learning, real animal science, and the very best part: LOTS of critter visitors throughout the season. 🐹🐢🐦
This is the club for the kid who already knows the difference between a guinea pig and a hamster, who has strong opinions about reptiles, and who has been quietly campaigning for a pet for longer than you’d like to admit. Each week brings a new creature, a new set of facts, and a new opportunity to practice the real responsibility of caring for something living.
Young critter enthusiasts will:
🐰 Meet real animal visitors and learn directly from the experts who care for them
🐾 Explore what different animals need to eat, where they live, and how to keep them healthy and happy
🧠 Learn the real science behind animal behavior, communication, and instincts
💛 Practice the responsibility, empathy, and patience that comes with caring for a living creature
🎨 Create animal-themed projects, habitats, and crafts inspired by what they’ve learned
Critter Club is part science class, part animal sanctuary, and one hundred percent the highlight of every animal-loving kid’s week. Whether your child dreams of being a veterinarian, a zookeeper, or just really, really wants a hamster — this is exactly the club for them. 🐹
Critter Club meets Tuesdays from 3:30–5:00 PM at High Five Books. Ages 6–9. Ages 10 and up are invited to join as Counselors-in-Training
