Stella is a senior at Mount Holyoke College, majoring in Psychology and Education while completing Massachusetts Early Childhood Educator Licensure. She has two years of classroom experience at Hadley Elementary School, where she collaborated closely with students, families, and veteran teachers to create responsive and warm academic experiences.
Originally from Los Angeles, Stella previously served as an enrichment teacher in a K–5 after-school and summer program at Valley Charter Elementary School in California. During her time there, Stella got her hands dirty leading project-based activities that fostered holistic child development.
Stella places social justice at the core of her teaching philosophy. She is dedicated to facilitating learning spaces where every student has autonomy. Her instructional methods are multisensory, experiential, and interdisciplinary—aimed at stretching learners’ thinking across early literacy, science, social studies, and the arts while honoring their identities and voices.
