Halie is an Instruction Librarian at Deerfield Academy, where she provides research support and information literacy to high school students. Passionate about engaging students with the joy of reading and writing, Halie has also led library programs for children of all ages. She has a Masters of Information & Library Science from Rutgers University, an MFA in Creative Writing from UMASS Amherst, and a BA in Studio Art from Smith College. She lives in South Deerfield with her foxhound, Lucy, and her two cats, Sojourner and Beatrix. In her free time, Halie loves to draw, explore nature, and catch up on reading.
