Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: We understand that sometimes life can get in the way of tutoring or coaching sessions. On purpose or by accident. Sessions can be canceled or rescheduled anytime, however, we do require a 48-hour notice for a refundable cancellation. If a session is missed for any reason without a 48-hour notice (by phone or email), that session is non-refundable.

Late/Tardy Policy: Our tutors are full-time professional educators working as tutors part-time. They have allocated time to support your learner during their scheduled tutoring session. If your child is late to a session, you will be charged for the full hour to compensate the tutor for their time and planning. Tutors will not be expected to stay past the allocated session time to compensate for a late start.

Late Fee Policy: All invoices are sent at the end of each month for services rendered. Payments are due 14 days after the invoice is sent. After 14 days, there is a 1.5% Late Fee Rate charged in addition to the payment. And don’t worry—we are human. If you need some extra time, please email info@thecommunityclassroom.com to work with us on a payment plan.

Session Duration Policy: To respect the planning time and schedules of our tutors, we only book full-hour sessions. There are some exceptions made for our younger students and other medical exceptions. Please reach out to our team if you’d like to ask for an exception and we will decide on a case-by-case basis.

Frequency Recommendation: We find that any frequency less than weekly sessions leads to S-L-O-W progress with clients, which can make a child feel frustrated and discouraged. It also can be hard to build a relationship with a client, and relationships are what propel deep learning. Due to those factors, we don’t recommend anything less than weekly sessions
