🌟 Mythology Club
Ages 6–9 | Ages 10+ as Counselors-in-Training (CITs)
Mondays at High Five Books, 3:30–5:00 PM
April 6, 13, 27 · May 4, 11, 18 · June 1, 8, 15
Step into a world of gods, heroes, magical creatures, and legendary adventures! In Mythology Club, children will explore myths and folktales from cultures around the world through reading, discussion, writing, art, and imaginative play.
Each week, participants will listen to and read age-appropriate myths, talk about big ideas like bravery, kindness, fairness, and perseverance, and bring stories to life through creative projects such as drawing, storytelling, and hands-on activities. The club is designed to support social-emotional learning, helping children identify emotions, make connections to their own lives, and practice collaboration and empathy.
Children ages 10 and up are invited to join as Counselors-in-Training (CITs). CITs will build leadership skills by supporting younger participants during reading time, helping facilitate discussions and activities, and modeling positive communication and teamwork—all while diving deeper into mythology themselves.
This multi-week club blends literacy, creativity, and community, giving kids space to imagine boldly, express themselves, and discover the timeless stories that have shaped cultures across the world.
✨ No prior mythology experience needed—just curiosity and a love of stories!
