We’re excited to share The Community Classroom’s 2026 Winter–Spring lineup of half-day camps! Each program is thoughtfully created and taught by certified teachers, designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and give kids hands-on, memorable learning experiences. Camps are for ages 6–9, with leadership opportunities for ages 10 and up as Counselors-in-Training.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:

January 19

Golden: The Science of K-Pop Demon Hunters (9–12 AM)
Campers will step into a high-energy world of creativity, teamwork, and STEAM challenges. They’ll design their own Demon Hunter identities, engineer contraptions, and build light-up gear—all while having fun and boosting problem-solving skills.

Movie Magic (1–4 PM)
Red carpet ready! Kids will craft personalized popcorn containers, sip hot chocolate from our bar, and explore the science behind popcorn before enjoying a cozy movie screening.

Lunch Bunch (12–1 PM) is available for kids attending both sessions.

January 23

Little Chefs: Dinner to Go! (1–4 PM)
Future chefs will mix, shake, and assemble a complete family meal to take home! Kids will create a soup kit, make fresh butter while exploring kitchen science, prepare a bread mix ready to bake, and design placemats and chef hats.

Dragon Academy: Adopt Your Dragon! (9–12 PM)
Campers will adopt their very own dragon, create habitats and magical accessories, and engage in hands-on dragon-themed activities. Each child takes home their dragon, certificate, and all their creations.

February 4

Love Lab: Valentine’s Science (12–4 PM)
Little scientists will mix, fizz, and explore the science of the heart! Activities include creating fizzy Valentine hearts, building pumping heart models, making bath bombs, and crafting Valentine cards.

February 18

Mystery Solvers: Crack the Case (Half-Day, 9–12 or 12–4)
Junior detectives will work in teams to solve a playful, science-infused mystery. Kids will decode secret messages, analyze “evidence,” and collaborate to crack the final case. Each camper leaves with a Detective Notebook and Junior Investigator Badge.

March 11

Leprechaun Science & Solar Secrets (12–4 PM)
Campers explore magical, fizzy experiments and imaginative engineering challenges. They’ll design and build leprechaun traps, create secret messages, and craft a working sundial to take home.

April 1

Reuse & Recycle: Creative Makers Camp (12–4 PM)
Kids discover how fun sustainability can be through hands-on projects and creative challenges. Activities include mending clothing, crafting with recycled materials, and making handmade paper.

May 6

Spring Egg-Stravaganza (12–4 PM)
Campers explore the science of eggs with a hands-on egg drop challenge, eggshell strength experiments, “naked egg” chemistry, and creative egg art. They’ll also learn which animals lay eggs and why.

May 27

Sprout Squad: The Science of Gardening (12–4 PM)
Kids become Junior Garden Helpers, learning about composting, soil, and pollinators. They’ll work with Grow Food Northampton to plant seeds, prep beds, and create take-home projects like seed-starting pots, garden markers, and mini garden journals.

Registration opens Friday, December 5! Spots fill quickly—secure your child’s place for a season of science, creativity, and fun.
