Young Entrepreneurs Lab
Young Entrepreneurs Lab is a conference-day, half-day camp (12–4 PM) where kids turn ideas into mini–businesses—creatively and ethically. Designed for grades 3–5 (confident readers in 2nd welcome), learners use a kid-friendly design thinking cycle to spot a problem, sketch solutions, prototype with craft materials, and test with quick “customer” feedback. We’ll build a simple brand (name, logo, tagline), practice pricing + profit math with one of our local banking partners (cost of goods, fair pricing, change-making), and make a tiny product sample using classroom materials—think bookmarks, slime add-ins, kindness pins, or seed packets. Students try out customer service scripts, create a one-sentence pitch, and rehearse a mini Pop-Up Showcase for caregivers at pick-up. Along the way we’ll talk values (helping people, sustainability, giving back) and what it means to be an entrepreneur in our community. Hosted at The Community Classroom (Florence). Please send a nut-free snack/lunch and water bottle; we provide all materials. Seats are limited—save your spot now.
