Young Entrepreneurs Lab
Young Entrepreneurs Lab is a conference-day, half-day camp (12–4 PM) where kids turn ideas into mini–businesses—creatively and ethically. Kids will learn the basics of financial literacy and start their own business: either selling slime or lemonade. We’ll explore Florence and go on a logo scavenger hunt, talk to a few business owners about their logos and brands. Then they will build a simple brand (name, logo, tagline), practice pricing, and do some product testing to see what they want in their final lemonade or slime product. Students will role play talking to customers, create a one-sentence pitch, and rehearse for a mini Pop-Up Market at 3 pm for the public and caregivers at pick-up. Our partners at Florence Bank will come by to give certificates to our young entrepreneurs!
Along the way we’ll talk values (helping people, sustainability, giving back) and what it means to be an entrepreneur in our community. Hosted at The Community Classroom (Florence). Please send a snack/lunch and water bottle; we provide all materials. Seats are limited—save your spot now.
