SUMMARY:Fairy Club
DESCRIPTION:✨ Fairy Club\nTuesdays at High Five Books\, 3:30–5:00 PM\nApril 7\, 14\, 28 · May 5\, 12\, 19\, 26 · June 2\, 9\, 16\n$275 \nCalling all fae enthusiasts! Welcome to Fairy Club\, a magical afterschool adventure where imagination takes flight and stories sparkle with possibility! Each week\, children will gather for a cozy\, creative session rooted in rich literature\, storytelling\, art\, writing\, and playful exploration. \nWe’ll begin each session with a beautifully written fairy story or nature-inspired tale\, setting the tone for imaginative discussion and wonder. From there\, children will dive into creative projects—drawing\, crafting\, writing\, and building—bringing fairy worlds and characters to life in their own unique ways. \nEach Fairy Club member will also adopt a fairy of their own to take home (don’t worry\, caregivers—it’s a stuffy\, not a real fairy… because we all know how messy real fairies are and how the glitter gets everywhere). This adopted fairy will help guide our ongoing conversations about feelings\, friendships\, problem-solving\, and growing confidence\, supporting gentle social-emotional learning through storytelling and play. \nChildren will design and build fairy habitats using natural and creative materials\, thinking about what their fairy might need to feel safe\, cozy\, and cared for. These habitats inspire imaginative play while also encouraging empathy\, responsibility\, and creative problem-solving. \nChildren ages 10 and up are invited to join as Counselors-in-Training (CITs). CITs will build leadership skills by supporting younger participants during reading time\, helping facilitate discussions and activities\, and modeling positive communication and teamwork—all while diving deeper into the fairy world themselves. \nFairy Club is perfect for children who love: \n\nStories and imaginative play\nArt\, writing\, and hands-on creation\nNature\, magic\, and gentle science exploration\nLearning social skills through play and storytelling\n\nPrice includes one small fairy to take home after our last session. \n🧚‍♀️ No fairy wings required. Just curiosity\, creativity\, and a love of stories. \nPlease register using the calendar with links below. If you have attended a Community Classroom event or are a current or former client\, please log in with your Tutorbird access and register. Lastly\, please make sure you are choosing the right month\, date\, and time on the calendar below.\n \n
