Susan is a certified teacher who has taught secondary level mathematics as a classroom teacher (Brookline High School, Belmont High School, and Greenfield Community College) and as a private tutor for math homework, test prep, and projects. She is a graduate of Boston University (B.A. in Computer Science, magna cum laude) and Washington University in St. Louis (M.A.T. in mathematics).

Most recently, her day job has been as a software website specialist in testing, support, and data analysis. While that work keeps her quite busy, she has been eager to again work with students of mathematics — contributing to their learning ease and confidence, supporting them toward the belief that math is accessible to all. She is excited to be among our staff of tutors.

When not sitting in front of a screen, Susan enjoys running, hiking, thrift shopping, porch gardening, caring for her special needs cat, keeping up with local and global news, and practicing environmentally sound living.
