Emilia is currently a Master’s in Teaching student at Smith College where she takes education and mathematics classes. She moved most recently from the White Mountains of New Hampshire where she used to work as a high school math teacher. Before working as a teacher, she used to spend her summers working as a hut caretaker for the Appalachian Mountain Club. She loves to learn about what interests and excites her students and aims to develop their self-efficacy and mathematical curiosity. On weekends she’ll likely be at the Amherst Cinema, making pizza, or hanging out with her cat Binnie.
