Caitlin graduated from Hampshire College in 2012 and received her pre-k to grade 2 teaching license from Mount Holyoke College in 2013. After this, she worked as a paraprofessional in Amherst Public Schools. In this role, she provided small group math intervention support to 5th and 6th graders. In 2014, she began her work as a Kindergarten teacher at Lincoln Elementary School in Springfield, where she spent eight wonderful years. She speaks Spanish fluently and has conversational skills in German.

In 2018, she became a foster parent and has anywhere from one to five foster kids at any given time. In order to focus on her foster kids, she decided to take a step back from classroom teaching for the time being and focus on tutoring. She absolutely loves to see the progress that can be made when working with individual students.
