SUMMARY:Dinner's On Me: A Feed-Your-Family Cooking Club
DESCRIPTION:Dinner’s on Me: A Feed Your Family Cooking Club Tuesdays\, 4–5:30 PM | Florence Civic Center | Ages 7–11 (Ages 12+ as CITs) | $375 includes weekly food to share coming home | September 15\, 22\, 29\, October 6\, 13\, 20\, 27\, November 10\, 17\, 24 (Community Classroom Cafe) \nWhat if your child could cook dinner for your family — from scratch? Not from a box. Not from a packet. From real ingredients\, real techniques\, and real pride. 🍽️ \nDinner’s on Me is an 10-session afterschool cooking club where kids learn to plan\, prepare\, and pack up real food for their families (up to 4 people) — one delicious Tuesday at a time. Each session takes place at the Florence Civic Center\, where young chefs will work with real tools\, real heat\, and real responsibility to create something their whole family can enjoy that same night. \nThis is not a cooking show. It is not a baking kit. It is hands-on\, teacher-led\, certified-instruction cooking — where kids learn knife skills\, kitchen safety\, food preparation techniques\, and the deep satisfaction of feeding the people they love most. 💛 \nEach week brings a new meal\, a new skill\, and a new take-home.  \nEvery session campers leave with a take-home meal or kit — ready to finish cooking or serve straight to their family that evening. Week after week\, families will open the door to a child who says four of the most wonderful words in the English language: Dinner’s on me. 💛 \n🍽️ The Big Finale: The Community Classroom Café | November 24th | 5-6 PM | The Florence Civic Center  \nFor our final session\, young chefs will transform the Florence Civic Center into a real working café — setting tables\, greeting guests\, taking orders\, and serving food they are genuinely proud of. \nParents are invited to be served by their young chefs from 4:00–5:00 PM while little ones are cared for by our Babysitters Club next door. Kids will arrive early to set up\, review food safety and serving etiquette\, put on their aprons\, and open the café doors. \nIt is the culminating moment of eleven weeks of learning\, growing\, and cooking — and we have a feeling it is going to be absolutely unforgettable. 💛 \nA Note on Kitchen Safety This club takes place in the full kitchen at the Florence Civic Center — a real\, working kitchen with real equipment. Our young chefs will be expected to follow kitchen safety rules at all times\, handle tools responsibly\, and treat the space with care and respect. Our certified teacher will be present and hands-on at every session\, and safety is always our first ingredient. You know your own kid\, and whether or not this would be a good fit for them or if they need to wait a bit to grow their responsibility muscles. \nTo register\, please click “afterschool club” and then select the correct date and month to start (September 15th). If you are a returning or existing client\, please register through Tutorbird.

SUMMARY:Babysitters Club
DESCRIPTION:One Spot Left* Babysitters Club Ages 7–11 | Ages 12+ as CITs | September 10\, 17\, 24\, October 1\, 8\, 15\, 22\, 29\, November 5\, 12\, 19\n\nCalling all responsible\, creative\, and caring kids who are ready to level up! 📚 \nThe Babysitters Club is a one-of-a-kind afterschool club inspired by the beloved book series — and perfectly timed to celebrate three brand-new BSC releases hitting shelves this fall\, including The Super Special Graphic Novel on September 15! Whether your child is a longtime BSC superfan or just discovering Kristy\, Claudia\, Mary Anne\, and the gang for the first time\, this club is their chance to live the adventure. \nYoung babysitters-in-training will dive deep into the world of the Babysitters Club through reading\, discussion\, and hands-on skill-building — emerging at the end of the season as genuinely capable\, confident\, and caring young caregivers. And every registration includes a brand-new Babysitters Club book\, because every great babysitter starts with a great story. 📚 \n📚 Grounded in the Books Each session connects to the Babysitters Club books — discussing characters\, storylines\, and the values that make the BSC so beloved: responsibility\, creativity\, friendship\, and showing up for the people who count on you. With three new releases this fall\, there’s never been a better time to be a BSC fan. 🎉 \n🎒 Build Your Very Own Kid Kit One of the BSC’s most iconic tools is the Kid Kit — a box of carefully chosen activities\, games\, and supplies that makes babysitting magic happen. Club members will design and build their very own Kid Kit from scratch\, thinking carefully about what kinds of things belong inside\, who they’re for\, and how to use them like a pro. \n🏅 Earn Your Babysitter Badges Our young babysitters will work toward a series of real skill badges — because great babysitters aren’t just responsible\, they’re prepared. Badges include: \n🔥 Fire Safety Badge — what to do in a fire emergency\, 🍎 Snack Badge — how to prepare safe\, simple snacks and pivot when things don’t go as planned 📞 Dialing 911 Badge — what counts as an emergency\, what to say\, and what to expect 🤔 Judgment Badge — when to handle it yourself vs. when to get an adult 🩹 First Aid Badge — how to dress a cut\, apply a bandage\, and stay calm under pressure 📖 Storytime Badge — how to read aloud to a younger child and keep them engaged 🌙 Bedtime Routine Badge — how to help a child wind down and get ready for bed 🦷 Dental Care Badge — how to brush someone else’s teeth safely\, 🍼 Diaper Badge — the basics of changing a diaper with confidence and care \nEach badge represents a real\, practical skill — the kind that makes families trust you\, kids adore you\, and YOU feel genuinely ready for the job. \n👶 The Real Deal: Practice Session on November 19th On November 19th\, our Babysitters Club members put their skills to the test in a real supervised practice session — caring for younger children while their families enjoy a special evening out. Adult supervision is provided throughout\, of course. This is the moment all those badges have been building toward — and we have a feeling our young babysitters are going to absolutely rise to the occasion. 🌟 \nBabysitters Club members leave the season with their completed Kid Kit\, a full collection of earned badges\, and the kind of confidence that comes from knowing you are truly prepared to care for someone else. 📚💛 \nGrounded in the beloved book series. Celebrating three new BSC releases this fall. Led by certified teachers who believe in building real skills in young people. \nTo register\, please select “afterschool club” and then make sure the calendar is set to the correct month and date (September 10). Existing and former clients\, please register through Tutorbird.
