The teachers of The Community Classroom tutoring have created 3 literacy scavenger hunts for the community, all with the goal of having fun with literacy (and getting people out and about downtown for a Nice Tuesday!).

For the younger set, we have an Alphabet Scavenger Hunt. For older kids and grown-ups, we have a
Phonics + Grammar Scavenger Hunt and a Literacy Scavenger Hunt.

We have prizes for participants, including 30 gift cards for Joe’s Cafe and 30 gift cards for A 2 Z Science and Learning Toy Center (generously donated). And don’t worry, grown-ups. We’ll have crash course handouts (cheat sheets!) to help you out.

#NiceTuesdaysNorthampton are hosted by the Community Engagement Committee of the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) to generatesupport for small businesses and nonprofit organizations in Northampton and Florence through community-building activities.
